Herbert Marshall played the role of intelligence agent Ken Thurston/"Mr. X." Leon Belasco played his sidekick, Pegon Zellschmidt.

The Man Called X was broadcast on CBS Radio and NBC Radio from July 10, 1944, to May 20, 1952.
