Let George Do It (Bob Bailey): The First Client
Bob Bailey stars in Let George Do It with their first published episode, The First Client. The first few episodes had more of a comedic feel, until later when the decided to focus on more true detective crime stories. This episode aired September 20, 1946.
Bob Bailey was a popular radio and occasional film actor, probably best known for this lead role in the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar radio program. Unfortunately, Mr. Bailey suffered from alcoholism for a while until he finally overcame it to become sober and an alcoholism counselor. He died at age 70 in 1983 in a Southern California convalescent home after suffering a stroke 10 years earlier.
