This is the true murder story of James Fisk Jr. (1835-1872), known as one of the "robber barons" of the Gilded Age. Although beloved by New York City working class, he achieved fame for his role in Black Friday (1869). Years later, Fisk was shot twice and murdered by a disgruntled business associate, Edward Stokes.

Created, produced and directed by Elliott Lewis; Crime Classics aired on CBS Radio from June 1953 to June 1954.
