This is the true murder story of James Fisk Jr. (1835-1872), known as one of the "robber barons" of the Gilded Age. Although beloved by New York City working class, he achieved fame for his role in Black Friday (1869). Years later, Fisk was shot twice and murdered by a disgruntled business associate, Edward Stokes.
